@asl Discourse is a 100% #OpenSource community platform.
We can use a hosted service, or host it ourselves if need be. In addition to letting our users continue to use email, there now also a searchable web interface.
We didn’t take this decision lightly:

@nlnetlabs That isn't very clear from their website... At first sight, it does seem very, very, very not opensource :) I don't really like those kind of websites... Put that on your .com, and a clear opensource page on the .org. But that's for @Discourse , not for you ;)
