why "at least" when the 2nd option involves more elaborate assumptions than the 1st?
"not thinking anything" is more likely imo, bc it's easier.
honestly, which do you expect them to pick?
our side: requires folks to somehow figure out what vague notions like "community engagement", "gel with people" are even supposed to mean
(yes, i do say it's a privileged gatekeep to take those for granted/obvious!)
their side: offers sustenance, automated sycophancy, and ai tiddies

@yaxu @hellocatfood you may not agree that the concept of "intellectual property" is a crime against humanity or that things like a "crime against reason" exist (i mean, i just made that one up! releasing those 3 words under #CC0 _now_ -> 👉⏏️ *boop*) but how are free software licenses anything more than a gentlefolk's agreement? one that we never figured out how to make sustainable - or even how to make non-specialists care about? ppl ask me "but who enforces those" - what should i explain?
