@patterfloof @janneke You can relatively easily configure Firefox (not sure about other browsers) to delete all cookies when you exit, although that requires not doing the "leave 500 tabs open" thing (easier for some people than others). I also have a shortcut set up to open Firefox with a clean profile that gets deleted when that instance is closed, but I'm not sure how easy that would be to do on anything other than Linux with a non-mainstream window manager.

    @kechpaja @janneke I've added the cookie autodelete extension to firefox, so I can at least have them purged on tab close - I don't leave many tabs open, but I'll normally have firefox running for days at a time, but this is extra addons that hack in a behaviour, not something default
