And every climate change has set us back since. Around the beginning of the Fourth Millennium climate change was directly related to the collapse of that same Danube Civilization (properly, the Varna Culture). More recently, during another climate change Antiquity shifted into the Early Middle Ages (sometimes known as the Dark Ages). History is Life's teacher. Her exams, though, come before her lessons.
