Who was he? You can get an idea from the top web hit on his name, this piece in Inside Higher Ed. Note that the "freelance librarian" bit mentioned in this article is in my bio, partly as a remembrance of him. https://www.insidehighered.com/views/2016/11/23/essay-scott-eric-kaufman
