Whoa, those two definitions of jibe don't jive!
So, I pulled my definition from [here](https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/jibe); however, I did not read down far enough to see the alternate definition!
What I found looking deeper is [this](https://www.etymonline.com/word/jibe). The article links [here](https://www.etymonline.com/word/jive), saying jibe (to fit in/be in harmony) is the older term (used since at least 1813) and jive is only used that way in the past 80 years.
So, while the definitions now jibe together, it is still some jive. So, no [gibe](https://www.etymonline.com/word/gibe) given, I was clearly mistaken!
