@anolandria@mastodon.social Altman is only "calling" for anything to take the heat off himself. He (and the rest of his billionaire pals) doesn't *mean* anything they say and can't be trusted, like _at all_. It's just PR drivel. What sporadic UNorganized violence *does* accomplish is that it leads to 1) more security, 2) more surveillance 3) more oppression and 4) more sympathetic and successful propaganda. All of which just makes it even harder to *organize* against them. It's a Lose-Lose scenario.

@anolandria@mastodon.social he's been talking about it for at least two years. It's part of his marketing - he paints the picture of the benevolent feudalism where his AI captures all the wealth in the world, nobody has job and there has to be an UBI. It's yet another marketing stunt
