I think the first question for you to think is 3-wheeler or 2-wheeler. How long distances you should cycle with it? Since you do not prefer e-assist, a 2-wheeler might be better. Next question: with a plywood box or a long tail bike?

@marialuosto Some of the places I go will only fit a 2-wheeler (I'm in a country town with pretty much no bicycle infrastructure, so a lot of the time I need to go down gravel tracks so I don't risk the highway) and I very much like the long tail, but I'm thinking it can be possible for me to build an enclosure to go on the tail?
