I've been dealing with some over-exertion lately so I decided to spend some time alone today just watching TV. I tried out a 1970s William Castle-produced anthology series called "Ghost Story" but which got renamed "Circle of Fear" by the end of its first season.
During its run with the former title, it's hosted by Sebastian Cabot as a man named "Winston Essex" who lives at what one would presume is a Victorian manor called "Mansfield House." He seems to operate it as a hotel, but details are vague. In the pilot, the ghost story directly relates to guests of the hotel, but by the first proper episode, "Mansfield House" now appears to be a modern, sunny resort, and there's no actual link between this framing device and the episode's story.
The story is about a forest ranger who accidentally kills his neglected wife in a region where "forest spirits" possess the dead.
Also, his TV depicts the future for some reason.
And sometimes, the past.
