@LeoKirke Mint is my first recommendation to people moving away from Windows, it's friendly to beginners and plenty versatile for seasoned users. The lower system requirements of Linux distros in general means e-waste is prevented and less money spent, too (I'm using a 2015 model myself running Arch Linux), especially at a time when the AI bubble is placing computers outside the reach of many users. That's such a great service @coreysnipes is providing.
