I think it might be interesting to see (association) football played with no formal rule changes, but with the referees swapped out for hockey refs.

Perhaps even hockey with referees replaced by [boxing refs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTtniB6nKg0). (yes, it's impossible to find that video without loud music)
