@Susan60 @naturepunk Yes, I have seen that too, especially when I was working with the elderly. There would often be one family member who would do the bulk of the role and be my point of contact for all matters. There was often a sibling who rarely did anything at all, and was only to be contacted in an emergency. My brother died in 1991, but had he lived I think I would still have been the one to take on the bulk of caring for our parents.
