@The_T It really is shocking how much still relies on old tech that isn’t being supported or produced anymore. Not the same exactly but I’m reminded of the last man standing in the floppy disk industry:

@seekingfreedom @The_T There should be a legal requirement for any company that stops supporting a technology to open-source every aspect of it. The worst examples of this are in medical devices. And this goes double for any businesses that are liquidated by vulture capital takeovers.
