Nintendo Switch 1 -> mostly compatible with all USBC docks :halfy_happy:
Valve Steam Deck -> compatible with all USBC -> HDMI things I've thrown at it. :halfy_hungry:
Nintendo Switch 2 -> seems to work with pretty much ONLY the official dock :halfy_angry:
Nintendo please I really just want to use one dock with my TV. You are using a USB-C connector and outputting HDMI. Why be like this?

@halfy@mastodon.half-shot.uk A friend had a third party switch 2 USB-c dock from AliExpress here a while ago. Many there claim to be compatible. Some then actually are I think 🙈.
