If anyone in the UK (especially the South East/London) has unusual telephones they would donate or sell for a modest fee, I would be interested on behalf of the Reading hackerspace, rLab.
As long as they work or are easily repairable for a standard POTS network/landline.
See below a Dutch ex-prison service phone, as well as a ruggedised phone used airside at Heathrow.
