@DJDarren @samsteiner I see your posts and it never bothers me, whether you were getting paid or not! It would be awesome to keep people paid and happy in their work! It's very easy to scroll right past things that don't need my attention, I follow a lot of people who post in multiple languages, I don't always take the time to translate their post to English, I often just keep scrolling. It's very easy to keep scrolling. I think the issue is more in the paid advertising that happens on larger platforms, we don't get a choice there about these ads, they are placed every 5-10 posts and are boosted into our feeds without consent. If you follow me, you're gonna get cats, wordplay and absurd thoughts and an occasional promotion of what I'm doing, I get to post what I want and I'm very thoughtful about my interactions. If others don't like it they can choose not to boost it, or choose to mute/unfollow/block, and they can do so without telling the OP anything--I'm not sure that reply guys know this is an option lol
