@samsteiner As I am in control of my timeline I don't see a big problem with ads yet. Also: where's the line between decent promoting, talking about one's work and ads? On a second account I post about the work of a non profit organization and often invite readers to use its free services. Strictly speaking this is advertising. I would advocate for allowing promotion but demanding it to be marked with a common hashtag.
