@samsteiner everyone is welcome in the fediverse. As long as marketing is not over the top that would be fine with me. I also promote my own apps and stuff here.
What I would like to see though is a professional network in the fediverse. But there is none yet.

@klyx the problem I see is that the adoption is so low (and still mainly geeks) that it can be hard to "find" your ideal customers - depending on your services. If your ideal customers are on the billionaire platforms, you're stuck. (or have to have a non-social-media strategy, which often also ends up sending money to the big boys.)
