ANYWAY while I go try to nap my migraine off , anyone want to share their pros and cons of the diff photoshop alternatives?
I’m suddenly VERY open to a one time purchase after doing that math , though ofc very down with FOSS.
I really wish GNUimp’s makers weren’t always quadrupling down on the name.

@moss i have so many opinions on this subject, but basically I think affinity suite is the best adobe alternative at this point. if you have to use adobe for work I recommend pirating it if you can. it’s a little tricky but it can be done also, lol, i absolutely hate using gimp and don’t think it’s professionally viable but i do use it sometimes for very basic tasks

@moss I am not particularly helpful in this space, because I've just hung on to unlocked copies of Photoshop 7 and CS2. They still do everything I need for pretty basic editing stuff.
