Not a lot of people realize how much of my non-working life I devote to keeping up. It's almost a sickness but it's what I like to do. I'm proud to be known by a few of my peers as someone who finds a way to have an Approximate Knowledge of Everything. The 23177 projects I have starred on GitHub should classify me as a bot. As much as I hate to admit it, that's all been me and my truest self.
If I fall behind, it'll be because I'm dead 😤

I think the point I agree with is that the landscape is changing and there is a need to adapt somehow. Adopting some bespoke tools or relinquishing my rights and soul to some corporate overlord do not spark my curiosity though. If something changes, it'll probably be the nature of the work I do. I love supporting people - that's fundamental to my existence as a person in tech and the work I currently do. That doesn't have to change, but maybe the means in which it happens will.
