@EinsPossum And if you are actually from Norway there’s a book about postwar antisemitism with special regard to the Norwegian left by Torkel Brekke called “Ingen er uskyldig”. Including the fact that the union LO quite suddenly turned from openly supporting the left zionist movement to an Israel opposing antizionist attitude around the late 60’s.
But I guess the day the Blizz hus’s Intifada murals change due to a more reflected and complex political analysis after decades of keeping up traditional aesthetics of revolution is further than it ever has been.

@homer77 Could that have a connection with the stance of the USSR at that time? I remember that the USSR initially supported the israeli states creation and the state itself, but then changed its attitude when it realised that it wouldnt be politically aligned with them or something. The USSR did a lot of politics exporting to leftist movements all around the world and a lot of things that are just assumed as commonplace by leftists today are based on USSR propaganda, so that could be the case.
