But back to the original shit take. First, some terms. Holocaust is a old-greek word applied by outsiders to the genocide of 2/3rd of the european jews by the Nazis and their collaborators. This term is usually used specifically for the genocide of jews, not for Nazi atrocities in general. So wanting to push jews to the side here is already just immoral. 5/13

The term used by jews to describe the genocide is „Shoah“. There are terms and symbols used to refer to the murder of other groups. The word „Porajmos“ from the Romanes language is the word chose by Roma activists to refer to the genocide of Sinti and Romani people. The murder of disabled people is usually referred to as „Aktion T4“, which is what the Nazis called it. 6/13 #holocaust #genocide #antisemitism
