@cassana Awesome! I don't usually comment about me as a blind dude, but speaking as a blind dude, this stuff is really cool. Because how else are we gonna find out about it? Skulls. Skulls for everybody! You get a skull, and you get a skull, and you get a skul, and … Seriously though, it's great that you get to dig into something you're really interested in like this. Can you distinguish the reconstructed areas from the original stuff?

  • @khomus Not tactilely. It’s indicated by colour, sort of similar to filler making an area even again. But they’re not presented as pristine skulls. Dinkinesh is more reconstructed really, whereas Miguelón isn’t. This is mainly context, because Miguelón had suffered cepsis due to a broken tooth, but also up to 13 blunt impacttts to the face and neurocranium. Signs of that are all present in the replica, and you can definitely feel those.
