We cannot make any such claims anyway. We see Europe as a distinct continent with specific cultures, but further back, it all breaks down. The Aurignacians aren't associated purely with sites in Europe either, but also with the Levant, from which they moved towards the Balkans and then further west. That migration was rapid, roughly 2-4k years to move from the Levant to Spain. And where along the way did they have the idea for this protocuneiform? (5/12)
