@samueljohnson We are all bombarded by doom and gloom and continually info overloaded with a lot of noise and misinformation in our information streams. Much of that purposefully done with the aim to influence, divide, and drive apart regular people who otherwise share very similar basic needs. Who have the same interests to live in democracy and freedom. People may be misguided or right on the mark, but if in discussion on matters of differing opinion we engage on basis of aggressive confrontation, then it can only serve to repel the other, not bring people closer together. Falling for the divide & conquer trap of our real opponents, the oligarchs and autocrats. I frequently say that in progressive circles we divide ourselves to be conquered :)
