Yea. I consider EU far from marvellous, am often exasperated by what's going on there. But it is also the best we have, and I'm glad my country is in the EU. One upside of the dark outlook in world politics, and the New World Order et al, is that it will give such a shock to the system, that more radical change and innovation is now possible where it wasn't before.

@smallcircles @samueljohnson @Kerplunk @chatcontrol we can but hope the EU starts standing up against the tyrany of certain countries and comes out as a better organisation. It needs reform of itself as well and perhaps redefining its goals without eroding national identities and accepting national and regional differences. Also feel it needs to actually take action against the ongoing genocides, stop importing stuff from aggressive 'partners' and help countries in desperate need.
