@KimSJ but how would they know? This apparently happened because they (or their AI tools) spotted something pornographic, but all that's on Sync or Mega servers is st strongly encrypted blocks of data - nothing to scan.
I see the issue wasn't actually the storage, but using tools from the same vendor. At least Sync and Mega aren't owned by Google - that's some protection. (A backup is always a good idea, of course).
