I’d like to imagine that if something like this ever actually happened, the cop would start saying “fog or mist” instead.

I got pulled over and the cop shouted “HELLO? Can you see me?” Uh, yes? “I’m asking because of the thick fog” It was a cloudless sunny day. I stared at him blankly. “Your fog lights are on. License and registration please.”
