It starts with electrons and Silicon. The silicon is doped with Boron (P-Type) or Antimony (N-Type) to change its type or charge. Joing the two in a PN junction allows connecting electricity in a single direction: it's a diode. If we do more junctions, we can to an NPN transistor construction, which is in fact a electric switch. #RustInParis
