@fullfathomfive But she is describing grammar checkers: 'stuff in your computer that pretends to correct your punctuation or grammar'.
Some writers' 'style' relies on such support. To ignore our experiences is exclusionary. Given the reason some of us use those tools is our disability or neurodivergence, the quote -- especially out of context -- sounds like ableism.
If the quote holds value for you, great. Its sentiment lands differently for some disabled and/or ND folks
