@joey And it also has the advantage that it breaks just as often as Linux, no less and no more. 🙂 And it does break from time to time, and you can fix it just as you can fix Linux, and just as hard, which sometimes is very hard. Luckily not that often nowadays, neither with Linux or macOS. It is a myth that macOS is more robust than Linux. It isn't. @pounce

  • I wrote "It is a myth that macOS is more robust than Linux. It isn't." I will give you just one example that happened this week. I had a printer connected to my Mac Mini. My wife, my son, and myself wanted to print remotely from our machines. No amount of web search or chatSomething solved the problem. We just couldn't do it. Simple solution. Instead connect the printer to the old 2012 Linux machine I mentioned above. Then, wonders of wonders, open the print manager, everything gets installed after I approve, set simple preferences and permissions, and now the three of us can use the printer remotely, from Linux, from macOS, and from Windows. @joey @pounce
