@dashdsrdash What I do: buy cookbooks.
(Actually I've stopped buying cookbooks because I just have too many now, and usually go back to old favorites rather than searching for something new.)
I do also have an America's Test Kitchen subscription which I basically only use when visiting my parents at Thanksgiving.

@wollman We have about six linear feet of cookbooks. That's after at least two major purges in the last few decades. We have a subscription to Food and Wine (which was much better a decade ago) as a source of inspirations. That turns into a pile of ripped out pages, which I was turning into wiki entries today.
