@alatiera hot take but nix is not most important. GNOME is not most important. Linux is not most important. Not in absolute terms. It's scary to think these things might go away, especially for those that have put so much in, and indeed there are a lot of ‘costs’ that have, are, should and will be borne for them. But not *all* costs. Other things *are* more important. First amongst them being people, decency, and dignity.
