Closing accounts with zero prior notice and zero chance for appeal is wrong. We need a law for this. At the very least, you should be allowed to export your data in a usable format.

@FirewallDragons@mastodon.social This is insane. Now every open source software developer/organisation is at risk of microslop suddenly closing their accounts. Let’s hope this gets resolved without any nefarious requirements being added by microslop for reverting these changes

@FirewallDragons@mastodon.social I don’t want to play devil’s advocate, but on the other hand, it’s a private company, not a government body or some NGO. Their job is to make a profit. That’s exactly how becoming dependent on big tech ends up...
