@navi And likely takes even less with a compiler like tcc or cproc. Like bubblewrap-style bootstrap-initrd (tcc+musl as seed, all pre-unpacked) takes 3 seconds on my desktop and that's compiling oksh, oyacc, pdpmake, utils-std, m4+lex from heirloom, ed+sed+xargs from sbase, nawk, bzip2, zlib, pigz.
