@goblin no I don't think so. For starters there's no formal specification anywhere, the python reference implementation *is* the spec. Also that feels a bit outside of the bounds of copyright to me. I think the original author isn't expecting their license to be foisted on every other implementation. In fact it looks like there are many people in the reticulum community who want to see a fork of the python reference implementation from a year ago before the reticulum license was added. You're right about re-licensing MIT, that's a good idea. I don't really have time to die on this particular hill, and I realise the license was never really enforceable, but still...
