In memory of Sam Neill passing, I would like to recommend one of my favorite movies that is not Jurassic Park that has him in it.
"IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS" is a classic horror story about a little guy, played by Sam Neill, who discovers a book written by a mysterious author who has disappeared.
He soon discovers that everything happening in the book is affecting reality, and ends in a REALLY GOOD denoument where he can no longer discern fantasy from reality. It's a really good take on the old "they were dead the whole time" or "it was all a dream he was having" trope we all know and love, it's perfect.

I would call this one of the archetypical best examples of "It was all a dream...or was it? Or was he, in fact, not real the whole time?" endings people love to talk about. You may know this best with the internet creepypastas about how Ash Pokemon is in a coma and dreaming about Pokemon.

@Alsvid@brain.worm.pink it’s a modern riff on Lovecraft and a parody of Stephen king mania and the castle rock saga.
