@kobold @blinry @postmarketOS you could try fde or systemd-homed (this only when you are OK with systemd).
another way seems impossible or very hard to me as how the bootloader and hardware are designed and how linux boots on that hardware but I can have a wrong impression of those components.

@Idcrafter @kobold @blinry yeah currently FDE only works on images you build yourself but that should be fixed once we implement this https://gitlab.postmarketos.org/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/issues/4076
