@johnofrobotz if we are to stand a chance, we need to organize on cheap and resilient infrastructure. I keep https://s.basspistol.org alive because I don't want to disposses my people from their identity until they come through. But I despise being the custodial of their creative output. No one should be such a custodial. But in reality, I'm just renting it all from a domain name registrar.

@johnofrobotz Nostr isn't a social media platform. It's nascent datamodel that's accomplished more interoperability in 4 years than fedi did in 16. If you tried 5 clients, you haven't scratched the surface. On it we can build resilient, nomadic, moderated communities, at a fraction of the cost of fedi. And we can express ourselves in an infinite amount of formats. An example: I update my website by posting events to relays. https://setto.basspistol.com No cryptobro is going to push me off that wave.
