@amirouche I know, totally get it. It's just a UX affordance, but like many affordances, matters in a subtle but important way. (And I totally understand and agree with the resistance to implementing it, too!)
Worth reading @shengokai's thread on the birdsite about why these things aren't so simple as a community preference.

@blaine @shengokai Quoted toot fork the conversation, and promote individuals instead of... conversation. Boosting a reply does the same, and leads to the interesting context.
