Paying for #Kagi search instead of using the "free" #Google search would now seem like a bargain for Elvira Schadlow, don't you think?
It cost her $11,000 because she picked the first search result, the one Google was paid to prefer over the hotel's official site.
Have you ever been fooled by a Google search result?

@Jerry Google’s lost the balance on privacy and effectiveness—it’s almost unusable now. I’ve moved to SearXNG (the rebranded SearX) for self‑hosting, and DuckDuckGo when I’m away. Curious: if DuckDuckGo sets your baseline for a usable search engine, where does Kagi land?
