Another request for the wider fediverse. I&#39;m trying to hunt down the name of an old website I used to go to that was basically a bunch of chiptunes that could fit on a floppy disk. I think it had weekly and monthly popularity charts. It was for original music, might have had floppy or 8bit in the name, but I think I remember it having a ridiculously yellow background. Does anyone remember its name or even if it exists. I think I might have hallucinated it... How did I find it? My brain suddenly made me think of '8bitlolz', a track in my ancient mp3 collection - so I searched for it and floppyswop came up in the results and I clicked it and it's still as wonderfully yellow as I remember.

@feff Any chance it was Battle of the Bits? It's still ongoing and there's lot of music that COULD fit onto a floppy since they encourage participants to upload the tracker file before converting to MP3 in a lot of cases https://battleofthebits.com/
