@StevenB @francosolerio Also if the API is in the feed - how do you validate that the payment actually happened? The good thing about the app generating these URLs is that they know at the time of sending that the payment actually happened. Fountain / others could still create an API for apps to use - but they would need to have an API key that is trusted.

    @merryoscar @francosolerio I'm not going to be able to store metadata for a podcaster's service of choice to fetch from. I suspect others won't either. This means that any boostagrams from apps that don't have a back end simply get missed. If Fountain does do an API as a stop gap, I'll happily sign up for an API key and send the metadata, but maintaining a database for metadata isn't something I'm able to do right now.

    @merryoscar @StevenB @francosolerio The apps could sign the message with their own private keys like @alecksgates 's metaBoost proposal recommends. https://github.com/Podcastindex-org/podcast-namespace/discussions/676 The data is as trustworthy as the app signing the data in that situation.
