I don't have a tablet precisely for that reason. Until I can have a full Linux driven tablet, I'll keep to phones and computers.

Dude I have a good news for ya. Look for refurbished surface until the 8 these beast run Linux amazingly once you use the surface kernel from https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface. I installed waydroid to get androids apps, buy I noticed I start it less and less.
