@younata I have been thinking a lot about this recently. I think that playing from a disc (or cartridge) – which means deliberately taking out the case for the previous game, popping out that disc, putting it away, choosing a new case with a new disc, inserting the disc into the system – requires me to slow down and think about what I'm doing and what I want to do. It helps me fight the easy but shallow stimulation of just pressing a few buttons and immediately seeing a different set of pixels.
