@action_jay I started on mastodon.social years ago, forgot about it, came back during one of the Twitter death throes, and started a newer account on mastodon.online without thinking about it, and haven’t really felt the need to move anywhere else. I do send an annual stipend to the instance maintainer via Patreon and basically don’t otherwise think about it. While I appreciate the presence of the Canadian instances, I’ve never felt a compelling need to move to one of them.
