I cannot show you the replies. The Bootlicker Brigade was so strong in my community that my posts pointing this out have been removed for somehow breaking the Next Door guidelines. I hate that site. However it gets me in front of a representative slice of the people in my community, and shows me how much work needs to be done to win an election with a truly progressive platform. Basic reason, when it goes against one's works view, can elicit a defensive response, even when we think we have a common enemy, a common source of many of our problems.
