@manawyrm @ordnung it stops resolving via DBus. Strace any affected network tool (curl) and watch it hang at waiting for systemd-resolved via the DBus (https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/latest/org.freedesktop.resolve1.html). I have that issue constantly, every few days - tho only on my server. Restarting resolved doesn't really work, for some reason I need to change the config a bit, restart and test. Repeat if still broken

@30p87 @manawyrm oh interesting, thank you for sharing your information! That sounds a lot like what we expected. And if a restart not always fixes this problem it is also possible it was at least a part in our last mysterious problems situation. @Nameless the problem must be at least some years old the affected system runs a rather old version of it 252.39
