@eniko @sinvega Yeah - D&D can be fun but it’s usually nothing to do with the system, which basically needs a good DM to constantly bend the rules to keep things interesting. More modern systems realise that the rules should be there solely to make things *more* interesting, to add wrinkles and unexpected complications beyond collaborative story telling, and perfect pass/fail results are always the least interesting result. So you get systems like FitD which are always “Yes/No, but…” instead

@eniko @sinvega if you’re looking for info on what’s interesting outside the D&D space Quinn’s Quest is a good place to start.
