@jonhicks wrote about Albums, the Apple Music player app and I’m digging it thus far. I’m using the free features for now to see how I get along, but a lot of these album-centric players are interesting. For the most part, serendipity + perusal are the two things missing the most from streaming apps. A way to be at a virtual record store or as if you were picking something off your own shelf. Less surprise, more intention.

@nazhamid @jonhicks oh this is cool. I love the Longplay app for the same reason - browsing and playing albums feels so right. The iPad version kicking it on our dinner table is the closest to a portable DJ setup as I’ll ever get. @longplay https://longplay.rocks
